Need
We saw a giant unmet need in the small business market. Millions of businesses struggle with this problem daily.
Speed
We feel so strongly about this need, that I pulled two engineers from my other companies and got to work. The three of us have 75% of the product built. We have our hero customer. By mid-September, we expect a full beta. Because of the short timeline, we all work together in NYC.
Lead
Our top engineer needs to return to his real job, so we need a product leader. For now, this is a technical lead, but eventually I want a CEO to run this company instead of me.
Seed
Roelof Botha told me Sequoia is hunting for their first single-person unicorn. Our team will be four or five people, but that valuation is possible. We understand the market. We know the customers. AI gives us the tools.
